As of September 2025, Lame stands at 50,000 words, with expected completion in 2026. I’m sharing a PDF excerpt of the first 23 pages. Interested publishers, literary agents, or community members can contact me directly through my form to discuss the manuscript further.
Lame traces my adolescence through a fractured narrative of delusion, instability, and the eventual reality of homelessness. Told through a shifting structure of flashbacks and flash-forwards, it unpacks the dissonance between imagined life and lived experience.
At its core, this is a coming-of-age story about how identity is shaped under pressure—what fractures, what holds, and what survives. Rather than offering resolution, Lame sits inside the contradictions of resilience, exploring how a person learns to navigate adulthood while carrying the weight of dispossession.
